Nick formed Nicholas Tanner & Co in 1986 and became joint senior partner of Tanners Solicitors LLP in 1993

Nick offers hands-on advice in respect of all aspects of domestic and commercial property with a particular emphasis on high value country estates and Town and Country Planning. He has been acting for the Zurich group of companies for over 20 years advising on their leasehold property portfolio and freehold acquisitions. Nick heads up the residential conveyancing team at Tanners.

Nick is a family man who enjoys an active social life within the local community.

Richard advises on Inheritance Tax planning, Wills, Trusts and contentious Probate. He also leads our team of Private Client lawyers and manages the IT at Tanners.

Dealing successfully with complex estates with unusual assets which have included stamps, vintage car collections and woodlands.

Chris has over 25 years experience working as a specialist in commercial property, 10 of those years being spent with a major City of London firm. Chris regularly acts for the Zurich group of companies and has been advisor in numerous large scale and/or complex transactions involving acquisitions and disposals with a value in excess of £10 million. Chris is an experienced draftsman and promotes the use of plain, everyday English in Tanners' documentation.

Chris is an active member of the Cirencester Wine Club, having been on its committee for a number of years since its foundation.

Chris headed up the Tanners' team that successfully bid for the commercial property work of the Zurich group of companies.

Peter's work involves advice in all areas of modern commercial practice including company commercial, employment and litigation. His approach is characterised by an awareness of his clients' needs for practical and realistic solutions to legal problems.

Peter is a director of both a local charitable community project and the Cirencester Cyber Cafe for young people.

Peter is a fan of the great outdoors and a keen fisherman.

Gained from handling high quality residential property transactions. He was senior partner of his previous Wiltshire based firm Wood Awdry & Ford and acts as trustee and executor to many trusts and estates. He enjoys acting as the family solicitor to many. On a personal note Hugo is a family man and enjoys horse racing, gardening, running and keeping fit.

Julia advises on a wide range of commercial property matters for corporate and business clients. She is experienced in buying and selling agricultural land and estates and acts for a number of developers who specialise in conversion and restoration projects. She regularly acts for the Zurich group of companies on their leasehold property portfolio.

Julia is the member for Cirencester on the board of the Gloucestershire and Wiltshire Legal Association.

Julia is a director of the Tetbury Music Festival and acts as the company secretary to a local charitable regeneration trust.

Julia ran her own antiquarian book and print business in London before training as a solicitor. She loves music, books and Gloucester Old Spots.

She is an integral part of the Tanners' conveyancing team and deals with the more complex matters after exchange of contracts.
