Chris McCormick

After growing up in the local area, I attended the University of Surrey, where I studied law and graduated with first class honours.  I then achieved a distinction in my Legal Practice Course (with a masters in professional legal practice) at the University of Law in Bristol.

I joined Tanners in June 2021, initially working as a paralegal within the property team.  Following a period with the dispute resolution department, I commenced my training contract, continuing my work with the dispute resolution team before an extensive period working within the firm’s private client department.  I qualified as a solicitor into Tanners’ private client team in July 2024.

In my spare time, I enjoy waterskiing, walking my Labrador around the Wiltshire countryside and spending time with friends.
