Hamish Catto

After growing up locally, I studied English Literature at the University of Leeds. Following graduation, I spent three years working in music management, based between Paris and London. I then began my legal training by completing the MA Law (SQE1), achieving a distinction overall and placing in the top quintile nationally in the SQE1.

I joined Tanners in July 2025, initially working as an administrative assistant and paralegal in the Commercial Property team. In February 2026, I began my training contract, continuing with the Commercial Property team for my first seat.

Outside the office, I enjoy playing hockey, watching England find new and inventive ways to lose at cricket, and exploring the range of culinary options across the Cotswolds and beyond.
